Over a decade of professional experience in the gender-based violence movement
An innovative systems change leader and experiential facilitator, Caitlin brings extensive experience in strategically designing, implementing and evaluating programs that expand the capacity of nonprofits to deliver community-centered programming. As a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), she is uniquely able to bridge the gap between direct clinical services and systems change, always centering the voices of those most impacted by violence.
In addition, Caitlin is the Executive Director of the U.S. End FGM/C Network, a national network that works to end female genital mutilation and cutting (FGM/C) in the United States. In her free time, she also volunteers as the Director of Operations with Uplift – a volunteer-run nonprofit that works to end sexual violence in online communities and fandoms. Caitlin also founded Leading Upstream where she provides consulting services for mission-driven nonprofits and individuals looking to switch from micro to macro social work.
Caitlin is a proud toddler mom, tea enthusiast, and self-proclaimed nerd that loves board games and Marvel comics (team Iron Man!). She enjoys photography, hiking, kayaking, and traveling with her family.
